Axiro Semiconductor opens a new fabless design center in Bengaluru

Axiro Semiconductor, a subsidiary of CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd under the Murugappa Group, has inaugurated a state-of-the-art fabless semiconductor design centre in Whitefield, Bengaluru. Axiro presently offering range of RF semiconductor devices and intent to paly a key role in India’s ambition to become a global semiconductor hub, specializing in scalable chip solutions for 5G, 6G, defence, satellite communications, and industrial IoT markets.


The facility, designed as an innovation hub with advanced labs and scalable infrastructure, will support Axiro’s mission to deliver world-class silicon to global leaders like Ericsson, Nokia, Hughes, and Siemens, with millions of integrated circuits shipped monthly. Backed by a $36 million investment from CG Power, the centre underscores the Murugappa Group’s strategic entry into semiconductor design.
