Tim Lu joins Exar as Asia VP of Sales

Exar Corporation has announced that Tim Lu will join the Company on October 1, 2012 as Asia Vice President of Sales. Mr. Lu is responsible for driving sales in the Asia Pacific region, including Japan, and to report Steve Bakos, Exar's Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

"Tim Lu is a veteran of high performance analog and mixed signal sales," commented Mr. Bakos. "Tim has extensive experience building and managing successful sales organizations across Asia, and I am confident his skill set will contribute greatly to our growth strategy."

"Exar is in the midst of an exciting transition," added Mr. Lu. "I believe that the company has tremendous potential based on the products, markets and vision of the new management team."

Prior to joining Exar Corporation, Mr. Lu served as General Manager and Vice President of Asia Sales for Wolfson for twelve years, and most recently as Executive Director of Greater China for Conexant. Mr. Lu began his career at Logitech and Vishay after completing his Bachelors of Science degree at Chau Tung University in Taiwan.
