Zigbee software stack of Telit for M2M gets certification

Telit Wireless Solutions has announced the achievement of Zigbee PRO and Smart Energy software certification. Telit's in-house-developed software stack received certification for full compliance to standard version 1.1 for device classes Home Display and Energy Service Interface.

Telit explains ZigBee devices provide two-way communication and data transmission while not being subject to recurring air-time charges within the local environment as in the case of cellular wireless data.
