ZeBu-Blade 2 product included in the patent infringement suit against EVE by Mentor Graphics

Mentor Graphics Corp. has announced that the Tokyo District Court has agreed to add the ZeBu-Blade 2 product to Mentor Graphics' ongoing patent infringement suit against EVE in Japan. The ZeBu-Blade 2, released by EVE in November, is the most recent generation in EVE's ZeBu emulation family.

"As EVE's new products continue to infringe our intellectual property, Mentor will continue to defend that intellectual property," said Tom Evans, corporate intellectual property counsel for Mentor Graphics. "We have an ongoing obligation to our customers and shareholders to protect the many innovations made by our engineers in bringing new technologies to the marketplace."
