Vishay Asia has won 2011 Supplier awards presented by TTI Asia

TTI Electronics Asia and Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. have announced that Vishay Asia has received the following awards:

1. TTI 2011 Diamond award, Asia
2. TTI 2011 Supplier excellence award, Asia
3. TTI 2011 Best quality award, Asia

Vishay has also won TTI 2011 Supplier excellence awards in North America and Europe, and the TTI 2011 Global operations excellence award.

The intent of the TTI supplier awards program is to promote continuous improvement in supplier and distributor performances. This program is centered on quality measurements including on-time delivery, receiving quality, customer quality, administrative quality, and business systems. There are performance measurements including sales results, profitability, and percent growth.

Supplier excellence award winners are determined by performance points for these criteria. The Diamond award is given for the highest overall point achievement in a region and the Best quality award is given to the supplier who scores highest in each of the quality categories. The Global operations excellence award was given to Vishay for earning Supplier excellence awards in all three TTI regions (North America, Europe, and Asia) and scoring the highest total points globally.
