9000 software applications certified on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server

SUSE has announced that more than 9,000 software applications are fully certified on the latest versions of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server.

According to SUSE, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9, 10 and 11 have the most certified software applications of any Linux distribution. A comparison of SUSE.com and RedHat.com shows that SUSE Linux Enterprise Server offers 33% more certified applications than the latest versions of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

The number of certified SUSE Linux Enterprise Server applications has grown by more than 85% over the past two years, to more than 9,200. SUSE Linux Enterprise Server can provide the support to deploy variety of applications and workloads on different hardware and across virtual and cloud infrastructures.
