Aeroflex to provide testing solutions for mobile devices of Qualcomm

Aeroflex Limited has announced that it has signed a licensing agreement with Qualcomm Incorporated to supply manufacturing test technology for RF devices.

"This agreement enables Aeroflex to deliver test cost reductions to Qualcomm customers," said Tim Carey, product manager for Aeroflex Limited. "The Aeroflex PXI 3000 modular RF test communications platform is ideally suited to further reduce test cycle times."

Qualcomm customers are provided with automated manufacturing test solutions through Aeroflex's worldwide commercial factory test technology. Aeroflex will be able to validate its test solution against Qualcomm cellular mobile devices and provide data to Qualcomm's customers.

Aeroflex shall have access to software tools and technical support direct from Qualcomm.
