ST Micro's 1Q2012: sales revenue of Auto, Anaog, MEMS, MCU up and rest down

European broad segment semiconductor chipmaker STMicroelectronics has reported its 1st Quarter 2012 revenue of US$2.02 Billion, drop by 8% compared to the previous quarter.

STMicroelectronics increased its sales revenues in the segments of Automotive semiconductors, Analog ICs, Microcontroller, and MEMS. But the digital ICs, and discrete power semiconductor sales revenue has dropped and importantly there is significant fall in sales of semiconductor devices for wireless segment.
