Ittiam Systems: electronics design IP company with $20M+ revenue and 30 granted patents

Bangalore based electronics design IP company Ittiam Systems has announced that its annual revenue crossed the US$20 million mark for the fiscal year ending March 2012. The royalty income is said to contributed to more than 35% of this revenue.

Ittiam also said its "revenue per employee productivity" has crossed over US$100K, which is twice the typical productivity in the Indian IT industry. 25 million electronics units have embedded Ittiam's IP in the fiscal year 2011-12.

Ittiam is also said to tops the number of patents granted for an Indian IT company with 30 patents granted till date and a further 30 patent filings going through the patent review process.
