B and I of BRIC is target of TowerJazz for its semiconductor fab services

The semiconductor foundry service provider TowerJazz exploring fab service opportunities in India and Brazil, the two of the four most fast emerging regions of the world grouped as BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India and China) . TowerJazz said it is partnering with European company to provide training, manufacturing know-how, project management and technical support to companies in India and Brazil. TowerJazz is not disclosing the name of the European company it is partnering with, but it says the european partner is a world leader in nanotech. IMEC and CEA-Leti are two of the names immediately flash in mind when we think of European nano tech research.

TowerJazz says India and the Brazil have high growth potential in semiconductor market. TowerJazz to target Indian and Brazilian fabless companies and IDMs with India and Brazil as their end markets.
