IDT PCI Express switch selected by Magma for PCI Express expansion systems

Integrated Device Technology, Inc. (IDT) has announced that Magma has chosen the IDT 89HPES64H16G2 PCI Express Gen2 switch for its ExpressBox7 x8 Gen2 Outside the Box PCI Express Solution.

According to IDT, IDT 89HPES64H16G2 is a highly configurable, high-performance 64-lane, 16-port PCI Express Gen 2 switch, comprises of eight 8-lane ports running at 5 GT/s, each of which can be bifurcated into two 4-lane ports.
