Software development DNA is embedded in Indian embedded systems designers

It's the software design and programming; Indian embedded system engineers excel at. They can write again and again hundreds of lines of c code or any such code for improving the software efficiency. This is what driving the embedded systems market. It can be Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or 4G, its all now mainly the software. 80% semiconductor chip development itself is software. With the embedded systems platforms coming up with plenty of development tools -- the modular, systematic, virtual design of physical system is the way of designing now.

The Indian engineers with deep programming skills, they look for learning tools to speed the development and simplify the design.

Although there is a huge cry for lack in hardware design environment and lack in electronic manufacturing eco, Indian embedded software industry is thriving because of the demand for embedded software for offshore companies. But the shortfall in hardware design skills might one day turn into much bigger issue.

Though the hardware development by quantity is diminishing, its role and importance in total embedded systems design is staying same. You can't design the embedded software, if you don't know the physical understanding of the electronics system, both semiconductor chips and boards.
