Webcast on power supply design by ADI on July 13
Analog Devices, Inc. to broadcast its "Powering Your Circuit" webcast on July 13, 2011, at 2:00 pm EDT. This 60-minute webcast is the first dealing with the important - but often overlooked subject - of power supply design.
The webcast will explore power supply operation, including the different types of power supplies, various conversion methods, how power supplies affect the signal chain and how to select the best regulator for your circuit. This webcast will additionally explain phenomenon such as noise, ripple, line and load regulation, power-supply rejection ratio, the effects of temperature change and other specifications that affect power supply performance.
The Presenter: Andy Jenkins is an applications engineer in ADI's Power Management Group. Andy has a B.Sc. Degree in Electronics from Southampton University in the U.K., holds two U.S. patents and has authored several technical papers on the subject of power management.
