Freescale Semiconductor and Wind River's collaboration gets stronger
Freescale Semiconductor and Wind River have signed an agreement to broaden the software support collaboration from Wind River in developing systems based on Freescale's Power Architecture-based processors including QorIQ and PowerQUICC.
"Wind River is an essential QorIQ and PowerQUICC partner with a long track record of support for Power Architecture-based processors," said Raja Tabet vice president of Software and Systems for Freescale's Networking and Multimedia Group. "This agreement enhances our joint collaboration and provides our shared customers with outstanding developer technologies that fully leverage the capabilities of our most highly advanced multicore processors."
