Advantest attends to Vietnam semiconductor market by opening a subsidiary

Advantest Corporation has announced that it has established a subsidiary in Ho Chi Minh City: Advantest Vietnam Co., Ltd. Formally incorporated as a subsidiary of Advantest (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., the new company started operations on May 2011.

Advantest says against the background of Vietnam's flourishing semiconductor industry, demand for semiconductor test equipment-related services and support in the country is growing. While Advantest has hitherto provided support to its Vietnam customers through its subsidiary in Singapore, the new subsidiary will enable the company to respond even faster to emergency maintenance calls and other customer needs.

Advantest facilities in Asia include South Korea, Taiwan, China, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand.
