Validated chip design software from Magma for use with LFoundry iPDKs

LFoundry has said its interoperable process design kits (iPDKs) are validated for use with the Magma's Titan mixed-signal design platform, Titan Accelerators and FineSim circuit simulator for 0.15-micron technology platforms.

Magma's mixed signal supporting Titan and FineSim are designed for a smooth flow from RTL to GDS and also does that conversion faster. Magma says Titan Mixed-Signal Platform is the industry's first true mixed-signal design platform. It integrates implementation and verification while delivering first-time-correct, predictable mixed-signal designs. The Titan mixed-signal platform includes schematic and layout editors, an analog simulation environment integrated with the FineSim simulator, correct-by-design schematic-driven layout.

Lfoundry' fab is based 0.15-micron (150 nm) process. The 0.15-micron platform, with I/O voltages of 1.8V, 3.3V and 5.0V on PMOS and NMOS for high-speed and low-leakage applications, includes a modular LDMOS designed for RF and HV applications. Further enhancements include one-time programmable (OTP) memory, SRAM, EEPROM and area-optimized Flash, an 8-bit microcontroller, various ADCs (analog-to-digital converters) and several more modular IP options for advanced system-on-chip (SoC) designs. Europe based fables and fablite semiconductor vendors use LFoundry's semiconductor fab facility for making system-on-chips (SoC).
