PureVu video processor from Cavium used in LG made wireless TVs

Cavium Networks has announced its wireless displays technology called WiVu powered by it's PureVu video processors is selected by LG for their wireless TVs which can be fed with HD content wirelessly.

"We are very excited to be working with LG Electronics on their next generation wireless TVs," said Manoj Gujral, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Broadband and Consumer Division at Cavium. "Cavium is committed to a close collaboration with LG on creating new and innovative wireless display products."

Cavium Networks is also supplying same WiVu tech to another company called Monster, manufacturer of HDMI cables, AV accessories, and power conditioning products.

Cavium Networks has also disclosed that Taiwan-based EDIMAX Technology, manufacturer of network communication products has used Cavium's ECONA Multi-core ARM11 MPCore System-On-Chips (SOCs) in its networked storage platforms targeting the consumer and SMB markets.
