CAST's new IP platform for developing ARM Cortex-M0 processor based systems
Semiconductor intellectual property (IP) provider CAST, Inc. is introducing a new IP platform and evaluation package aimed at helping designers develop systems around ARM Cortex-M0 processors.
CAST says its JumpStart program works with the ARM DesignStart online IP portal. The DesignStart Portal includes a special downloadable configuration of the Cortex-M0 core, but lacks peripherals, test facilities, and support, as per Cast. CAST says its JumpStart complements the DesignStart offering by adding:
The PiP-M0 platform from SoC Solutions, Inc., with IP cores and essential software for a working system, including peripherals, bus interfaces, and memory controllers.
Models, testbench, and more for simulation using the Mentor Graphics ModelSim or Cadence Incisive tools, and a sample project for evaluation of the Keil µVision IDE.
A system evaluation capability with the platform IP pre-loaded on an FPGA board, a pre-defined C test project, and utilities and links to the Keil µVision tools.
Various options for expert support starting with one week free, plus attractive licensing terms for evaluation or commercial system production.
