Cadence makes deep inroads into Indian electronics and semiconductor industry
By any observations and analysis it can be estimated Cadence is the number one vendor of EDA software in Indian market. Much of growth can be attributed due to the marketing effort by the two people leading Cadence India. They are Jaswinder Ahuja, corporate VP and MD and Rahul Arya, Marketing and Technical Sales Director of Cadence India. It's very rare to miss any of these two guys at any popular event related to electronics and semiconductor/VLSI industry in India.
In the recently held cadence' event "CDN Live 2010", the marketing genius of Cadence' management team can be seen in the form of how well the event was organized in all aspects. Even the topic -subjects were fine tuned for market requirements of present and future.
Cadence is leveraging every opportunity while Indian electronics and semiconductor industry and VLSI design community moving up the design value chain. It's investing heavily into the design community and in an aggressive manner.
Synopsys, Mentor Graphics and Magma are no way far behind Cadence in tapping the Indian market but are slightly trailing compared to Cadence. It's kind of neck-to-neck race.
Cadence' new marketing mantra in the name of 'EDA 360' is working quite well in the global and Indian market. John Bruggeman, CMO, Cadence Design Systems, said due to EDA 360 vision Cadence revenue has grown by 30% where as overall EDA industry is growing at 8%.
