New software from KPIT Cummins based on HIS recommendation

KPIT Cummins Infosystems Ltd. has introduced a software package based on the Herstellerinitiative Software recommendation for Scalable AUTOSAR Stack supporting 16 bit AUTOSAR R3.1 Solution. KPIT Cummins is working closely with Japanese chip maker Fujitsu Semiconductor in multiple domain of automotive electronics.

KPIT Cummins says this software package enables easy design of AUTOSAR based automotive applications and includes KPIT's BSW , Fujitsu Semiconductor's MCAL and a comprehensive tool chain for ECU configuration. Users of the KPIT-Fujitsu Semiconductor software benefit from its reduced memory size which makes it extremely compatible to the development process of small and medium automotive applications, claims KPIT Cummins.
