Ditech Networks' VQA algorithms to run within FreeSWITCH platform

Ditech Networks has ported their voice quality assurance (VQA) algorithms to run within FreeSWITCH with the aim to bring the best possible voice quality experiences. FreeSWITCH is an open source voice telephony platform used as a PBX or conferencing server. The FreeSWITCH implementations may be subject to quality issues arising from handsets, noisy environments, and calls coming from other networks including both mobile and landline networks.

"We see the move to software based telephony accelerating, and believe that VQA can be an important component of the quality and success of these initiatives," said Karl Brown, VP marketing for Ditech Networks. "The FreeSWITCH community is dynamic, and we expect to see more and more FreeSWITCH implementations in the future."
