Billion Electric selects Broadlight's GPON processorss

Billion Electric has selected BroadLight’s 3rd generation BL23500 GPON processor family for their BiPAC 9300 GPON gateway products.

Billion’s GPON CPE products designed using BroadLight processors. Billion will be able to port their own software onto the newest generation BL23500 GPON family. Billion blan to roll out more new models of the BiPAC 9300 GPON gateway series for quick, seamless and powerful run times.

“Every service provider we speak to is interested in deploying GPON based on BroadLight’s fiber grade architecture because it delivers the most bandwidth power in the most cost effective design, which enables them to increase ARPU through new applications,” said Raanan Gewirtzman, CEO of BroadLight. “We are pleased to be working with Billion and to expand our GPON business into additional fiber access markets.”
