Samsung semiconductor is anticipating to mass produce Phase change Random Access Memory (PRAM) by 2008.

PRAM also nick named Perfect RAM, a more versatile non volatile memory which is 30 times faster and 10 times more durable than flash is prototyped by Samsung Semiconductor. A 512 MB working prototype was unveiled in a press conference held in Seoul on 11th Sept.

Keep watching for any news on sampling of 512 MB PRAM flash in 2008. Cost might be the only deciding factor. But who knows what else technology idea is brewing in somebody’s mind better than this.
