Radio platform streaming new-gen Internet content from Ensigma and Imagination Tech
Imagination Technologies has announced that its META processor and ENSIGMA communications technologies, together with its internet radio portal platform, enable new 'radio for the Facebook generation' PURE Sensia.
Sensia is the high resolution DAB digital and internet-connected touch radio that combines a unique, large colour touchscreen with a user interface, which enables the delivery of advanced multimedia content, information and Web 2.0 applications. And also offers podcasts and listen again services, DAB/DAB+ and FM, a custom applications providing access to services such as weather, news, Picasa, Facebook and Twitter, and DAB broadcast slideshows. Sensia is also a media streamer enabling users to listen to music stored on a home computer or network storage device via Wi-Fi.
