Dialog Semiconductor's ICs to power-manage NEC's multimedia processors

Dialog Semiconductor and NEC Electronics are collaborating to develop a design platform based on NEC Electronics' multimedia processor SoCs and Dialog's power management platform ICs for portable devices such as audio players, video players and smartphones.
"NEC Electronics' commitment to high performance is clearly demonstrated with the company's family of EMMA Mobile SoCs, meeting the needs of portable audio/visual (A/V) devices, such as multimedia players and mobile televisions," commented Dr Jalal Bagherli Dialog Semiconductor's CEO.
