New Scale's ASICs are now sold by austriamicrosystems

austriamicrosystems and New Scale Technologies are strengthening their partnership by agreeing to incorporate New Scale's proprietary ASICs into austriamicrosystems standard product portfolio.

Some of the highlighted products of New Scale include NSD-1202 driver operates two-phase ultrasonic piezo motors such as the SQUIGGLE motor and New Scale's TRACKER NSE-5310 position sensor. Both these devices are manufactured by austriamicrosystems to New Scale's specifications and are now offered as standard products by austriamicrosystems through its product catalogue, web site and world-wide sales channels.

The piezo motor driver and position encoder are combined with miniature SQUIGGLE motors for designing high-resolution motion controls systems for products such as mobile phones, digital cameras, portable medical devices, and aerospace applications.
