CTS is the EMS partner for manufacturing Thales' defense electronic products

France based defense and aerospace electronics hardware manufacturer Thales has selected CTS Corporation as its Electronics Manufacturing Solutions (EMS) partner.

CTS is awarded initial design and manufacturing of approximately $5 million over the three to five year program life. Initial production begins late 2009. CTS will manufacture multiple PCBAs for harsh environment systems at its AS9100-certified Scotland facility.
CTS is recently growing its revenue more from EMS services compared to its old business of passive components. CTS gained better expertise in Defense/aerospace after acquiring SMTEK in year 2004.
