Fluke Networks has acquired WLAN security specialist AirMagnet

Fluke Networks said it has completed the acquisition of WLAN security test solution provider AirMagnet. Airmagnet has recently identified security loopholes in Cisco's WLAN AP.

Fluke Networks has stated, the acquisition of AirMagnet is expected to create a global leader in the fast growing area of Wi-Fi testing and security and should further strengthen Fluke Networks' worldwide leadership in test and analysis for networks, regardless of media type.
