LSI retained its top position in Host Bus RAID Controller market with further growth

Semiconductor market researcher Gartner has ranked LSI as the number one supplier of host bus RAID controller in terms of unit shipments for year 2008 with a market share of 31.4 %. LSI was ranked number one in year 2007 also.

The report says, LSI grew its unit share in host bus SAS RAID controllers to 67.7 percent, more than twice the share of its closest competitor.
