Philips interoperability test lab designed for testing of digital consumer systems' connectivity

Philips electronics with its vast experience in consumer electronics, has made available a test lab and certification center called Interoperability Certification Centre (ICC) at its campus in Bangalore, India.

ICC offers complete interoperability test certification program for latest digital wired and wireless connectivity standards used in today's consumer electronic systems mainly supporting the Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) certification and logo program.
The connectivity standards supported are, Wi-Fi, Universal plug and play, Bluetooth, USB and HDMI.

Consumer electronics manufacturers offering products with HDMI connectivity feature must get their product tested at labs such as this to display HDMI logo on their products.

Philips says ICC is the only facility in India offering HDMI certification. The DNLA lab at ICC simulates a digital home with room separated by walls that create 8dB signal attenuation and installed with interference devices such as microwave oven, cordless phones, and Bluetooth devices what typically found in a digital home.
