Intel releases set of tools for multi-core based PC board development.

Intel has made available a set of updated version of software tools for developing PC boards. They are Intel Thread Checker, Intel Thread Profiler, Intel Vtune Performance Analyzer and Intel Threading Building Blocks. These software packages aid in developing boards based on Intel's multi core processors to run Microsoft's latest operating system Windows Vista, Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise, Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Fedora Core.
These updated versions are enhanced for Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6800 and Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600.
The parallel computing has taken control of PC software due to inevitable Multi Core processors. So it's all of threads, which need to be analyzed for better performance and speed. With the onset of parallel computing, the design engineer has more room to apply his idea and tricks to improve system performance rather than looking faster and denser processor chip.
