Herley believes proposed sale of the company is not a viable alternative

Defense focused Microwave Company, Herley Industries has announced that, it will continue to explore strategic alternatives for the company. While one of the alternatives being considered was the proposed sale of the Company, it does not believe that the sale is currently a viable alternative, primarily due to uncertain economic conditions.

Contradicting a third-party report, the Company's Board of Directors has never considered, much less declined, any offer for the Company.

The Company's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Myron Levy, stated, "We expect the Board of Directors to complete its full review of our strategic alternatives within the next few months. At that time, we will provide the public, including our shareholders, with our vision for the future of the Company."

Mr. Levy has stated few hopeful indicators for this company. They include, improved results in recent quarters, strong new order bookings, and strong cash flow.
