Hyundai Motors and Infineon to jointly work on automotive electronics
Hyundai Motors and Infieon Technologies have announced strategic cooperation for the development of automotive electronics. The development will be carried at a new joint innovation center.
They are going to develop automotive system architecture and the required semiconductors. The component from the Infineon to be used are, automotive chipsets, power semiconductors, microcontrollers, and sensors.
As part of innovative research, their joint tasks are, functional and cost optimization of car electronic systems, design of Electronic Control Units (ECU) design, ASICs in power trains, safety and body electronics.
