Gennum to bundle Jungo's driver development toolkit with its PCI Express chip
Gennum Corporation to provide its GN4124 IC customers with PCI Express driver development toolkit from Jungo called WinDriver solutions. GN4124 IC is a x4 PCI Express (PCIe) to local bus endpoint bridge chip. This bridge device offers four lanes at 2.5Gb/s or 10Gb/s in each direction enabling designers of high-speed embedded applications.
"Gennum chose Jungo's WinDriver solution because of its well established ability to support multiple operating systems, including Windows and Linux, from a single source, which significantly accelerates development time," said Bharat Tailor, Director of Marketing, Networking Storage and Computing for Gennum Corporation.
Jungo's WinDriver features an extensive set of user level APIs that implement PCI/PCIe functionality. In addition, a graphical Driver Wizard enables automatic driver code generation in major programming languages, such as: C, Visual Basic, and Pascal (Delphi).
The WinDriver toolkit is available now to Gennum GN4124 PCI Express-to-local bus
endpoint bridge customers.
