Qualcomm expands it's WLAN portfolio by acquiring Airgo

Qualcomm is acquiring Wireless LAN company called Airgo whose Intellectual Property assets and the domain knowledge will add extra strength to qualcomm's range of products.
Airgo supplies WLAN products for PC, LAPTOP and internet access systems. All the present products of Airgo will be continued after the completion of acquirement.
Qualcomm is also acquiring bluetooth assets of RF Micro Devices. All this aimed at making Qualcomm strong in wireless broadband internet.
