Scaleo chip and Tata Elxsi partner to build AUTOSAR-based automotive platform

To address the growing market of automotive electronics, Scaleo chip and Tata Elxsi have combined their automotive system expertise to jointly develop an Automotive Platform compliant to AUTOSAR standard. This hardware and software platform endows OEM and Tier-1s to define their system requirements at AUTOSAR level. Designers can look forward for a single software and hardware baseline running on Scaleo chip's SoC or derivatives.

The first available automotive platform elements will be configurable AUTOSAR Micro-controller Abstraction Layer (MCAL) modules dedicated to easyCANxF and upcoming easyBCU microcontroller family addressing body control and driver-information applications.
