TeamF1's authentication protocol products integrated with Green Hill's RTOS
TeamF1's AuthAgent family of authentication protocol products is now integrated with Green Hills Software's INTEGRITY real-time operating system. This integration provides developers with secure authentication options.
"As electronic and mobile products continue their inexorable transformation from standalone devices to powerful connected constituents of home, enterprise, and global networks, developers require systems software that can guarantee secure information flows," commented David Kleidermacher, chief technology officer, Green Hills Software. "TeamF1's authentication protocols enable users of INTEGRITY-based devices to gain secure access to networked services."
TeamF1's AuthAgent family includes:
1. AuthAgent Kerberos: an embedded implementation of the Kerberos authentication protocol that is interoperable with Unix(R) Kerberos Key Distribution Centers (KDCs) and Microsoft(R) Active Directory Services.
2. AuthAgent RADIUS: an embedded implementation of the Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service that interoperates with standard RADIUS servers. RADIUS, originally intended for dial-in use, is now the de-facto standard for remote authentication in both new and legacy applications.
3. AuthAgent TACACS+: an embedded implementation of the Cisco TACACS+ protocol as specified in TACACS+ RFC draft (draft-grant-tacacs). It implements the client side of a mechanism to carry authentication and authorization information between a network service granting privileges and a shared server that has the centralized user and node information required to decide whether such privileges should be granted.
