Agere Systems and LSI Logic are merged and will be called as LSI Logic

US based Agere Systems and LSI logic have signed definitive agreement to merge and to name the group as LSI Logic.

Agere is a telecom and storage expert, where as LSI Logic is into storage, networking and consumer. Both are well known for their high level of innovations, which can be judged by their filed patents. Now together with annual sales revenue of $3.5 billion, will be ranked in top 20 semiconductor companies of the world
