Bangalore: Texas Instrument's 9th developer conference begin with Biswadeep Mitra of Texas Instruments remotely addressing a gathering of around 800 Indian electronics engineers from Texas, US through a video cenference systems (IP bases Video/Audio) built by Lifesize. Ittiam too has similarly showed live communications on their Video over IP system made with TI Silicon engines.
Einfochip explained, how they could develop successful advanced automotive systems using TI's DAVINCI platform.
GE Health care played a video clip, showing new handheld laptop type ulrasound scanner helping the Doctors to diagnose rural patients in power starved villages. This 10pound scanner uses host of latest TI image processing and support chips. Sasken has demonstrated their new mobile application software named Aria, built on TI's Locosto platform.

The conference was focused at getting Indian engineers to learn and use TI's products in their designs. Biswadeep Mitra and other speakers were all positive about growing hardware industry in India. Though, we yet to see a running fab in India, Mr. Mitra was saying electronic hardware industry eco-sytem is already in place.
