IP equipment tester Ixia opens new facility in Bangalore, India

IP performance test systems firm Ixia has opened a new executive briefing center called "iSimCity" and proof-of-concept (PoC) lab in Bangalore, India. This new facility by Ixia indicates growing number of telecommunications research and development facilities in India.

At this lab, telecom companies can make use of Ixia's professional services and schedule third-party tests in the advanced lab environment.

Network equipment manufacturers, service providers and enterprises are expected to utilize this center for proof-of-concept demonstration before any purchase deal.

Atul Bhatnagar, Ixia president and CEO said, "We not only have an important sales office and training facility in Bangalore, but we also have important network equipment manufacturing customers there who are eager to make use of this new iSimCity, which has all the latest Ixia software and hardware solutions. Ixia's test systems are used by equipment manufacturers, semiconductor manufacturers, service providers, governments and enterprises.
