SiRF & Qualcomm sign mutual patent non-assertion agreement

SiRF Technology and Qualcomm Incorporated have signed a mutual patent non-assertion agreement covering each party's patent portfolio.

These two wireless technology innovators seems to have planned to protect and respect each other's inventions in the form of patents. SiRF is known more for GPS related product innovation and Qualcomm is present in every area of wireless technologies.

SiRF is awarded with more than 250 patents worldwide and more than 370 additional patent applications pending in the field of GPS and location technologies.
