Commercially supported uCLinux is available for Altera's Nios processors

Altera is partnering with SLS Corporation to offer Nios embedded processor users a commercially supported, pre-packaged uCLinux . uCLinux can be downloaded for free from the Nios Forum of Altera's website www.altera.com

This OS is targeted for Nios II Embedded Evaluation Kit (NEEK).
Altera's NEEK system is a low-cost platform based on Altera's Cyclone III FPGAs. Using this evaluation kit, embedded designers can design embedded projects using the Nios II embedded processor. The new SLS-supported pre-packaged uCLinux distribution includes a board support package for the NEEK system, with device drivers in object or source form. SLS offers technical support and commercial support. The company also provides users the choice of several support plans to meet their unique support requirements.
