Intersil showcase automotive ICs for electric vehicles at the battery show
Intersil Corporation has demonstrated its automotive IC technology and products at the annual Battery Show in Novi, Michigan.
At booth B125, Intersil had feature and demonstrate Lithium-Ion Battery Management products designed and tested to address the safety, reliability and performance requirements of the hybrid (HEV), plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and battery electric vehicles (BEV). These include the ISL78600 Multi-cell Lithium Ion Battery Manager, and the ISL78601 Multi-cell Lithium-Ion Battery Monitor.
Intersil has also demonstrated its newly introduced AEC-Q100 qualified ISL78200 2.5A buck regulator with pre-boost, a part that addresses the wide voltage variation typical in start-stop hybrid vehicle applications. The ISL78200 provides constant output voltage regulation even when the input voltage varies over a 3V to 40V range.
Also on display is the ISL78225 High Efficiency Multiphase Boost Regulator, along with two low dropout linear regulators, the 150mA ISL78301 and the 50mA ISL78307. Each features wide input voltage of 3V to 40V and low quiescent current of 18uA.
The show takes place at the Suburban Collection Showplace, formerly known as Rock Financial Showplace in Novi, Detroit, Michigan.
