Analyzer module to test HDMI, MHL, and other audio/video interface
Rohde & Schwarz has introduced an analog analyzer module for the R&S VTC video test center, the R&S VTE video tester and the R&S VTS compact video tester. This module enables manufacturers of consumer electronics equipment to comprehensively test the latest digital interfaces such as HDMI and MHL as well as classic analog audio/video interfaces using only one measuring instrument.
The new R&S VT-B2370 analog AV RX analyzer module comes with one composite input and two analog audio test interfaces. As an option, three inputs for analyzing SD and HD component signals and VGA (RGBHV) can be activated. Currently, the R&S VTx video testers can be used to analyze analog video signals in the time domain and to measure the color components using a vectorscope. In the future, it will also be possible to automatically measure common signal parameters. The most important parameters for analog audio signals are tested, including frequency and phase response, total harmonic distortion, signal-to-noise ratio, crosstalk and level.
The R&S VT-B2370 analyzer module is now available from Rohde & Schwarz. For more information, visit www.the-av-experts.com.
