Gate drive optocoupler in a 500 Mil DIP 10 for driving IGBT of 1700V/100A

Avago Technologies has launched new ACNV3130, a 2.5A maximum peak output current gate drive optocoupler available in a 500 Mil DIP 10 package suitable for driving IGBT up to 1700V/100A. Avago says this package furthers its ability to deliver wide creepage and clearance, and high insulation voltage required in high power applications such as mid-voltage (690V) drives, renewable energy inverters, traction drives and power supplies.

Avago Technologies claims it has one of the industry's highest 13mm creepage and clearance ACNV packages which is UL and IEC 60747-5-5 certified to VISO=7.5kVRMS and VIORM=2262VPEAK respectively.
