Android 4.0 tablet from Action Semiconductor and Ramos targets India market
China based chip maker Actions Semiconductor and the electronics device manufacturer Ramos developed Android 4 powered tablet computer for markets such as India, Latin America and Europe.
The new 4GB and 8GB version miumiu W1 tablet is expected to be available this summer features a high resolution 7" WSVGA (1024×600) capacitive multi-touch screen. The semiconductor chip used is ATM7019 SoC from Actions which is powered by MIPS32 74Kf core running at 1GHz.

We are pleased that long-time MIPS licensee Actions designed its ATM7019 SoC around the superscalar 74Kf core. The 74K core family is already proven in numerous networking and home entertainment products. Ramos' miumiu W1 tablet features 512MB DDR3 RAM, support for Wifi 802.11b/g/n, USB 2.0 high-speed 5-pin Micro USB interface, 4/8GB storage with support for up to 32GB external storage, microSD slot, support for 1080p HD video and most popular audio/video formats, 640x480 front camera, video recording with 640x480 resolution, support for USB keyboard/mouse and more.
ATM7019 CPU in Ramos' miumiu W1 tablet incorporates an OpenGL ES 2.0 3D graphics processing unit, HDMI 1.3, support for multi-format high-definition 1080p video encoding and decoding.
