1.5V P-channel thin MOSFETs from Fairchild for mobile applications

Fairchild Semiconductor has developed P-channel, 1.5V PowerTrench thin 0.8 x 0.8 mm MOSFETs, FDZ661PZ and FDZ663P. These MOSFETs allow mobile device designers to save space, increase efficiency and manage thermal issues.

These devices minimize board space and RDS(ON), while achieving good thermal characteristics for a miniature form factor. They use the state-of-the-art "fine pitch", thin WL-CSP packaging process.

Features:
1. Small packaging (0.8 x 0.8mm) occupies 0.64mm2 of PCB area
2. Low profile is less than 0.4mm height when mounted to PCB
3. RDS(ON) ratings with VGS of -1.5V
4. Thermal characteristics: RTJA of 93ºC/W, on 1in2 2oz copper pad
5. RoHS compliant

These MOSFETs are suitable for use in battery management and load switch functions in mobile applications.
