Infrared receivers from Vishay for universal 3D TV shutter eyewear
Vishay Intertechnology, Inc has released two infrared receivers developed specifically for the universal 3D TV glasses. The TSMP6000 and TSMP77000 are surface mount IR receivers designed to receive any infrared signal used for 3D TV synchronization, which simplifies the design of universal 3D TV eyewear.
The LCD 3D televisions are developed with active shutter glasses to separate the images intended for the left and right eye. There is a need to standardize the technology used to synchronize the 3D TVs with their corresponding active shutter glasses. The universal 3D TV eyewear is capable of functioning with any 3D TV using active eyewear technology.
Features of TSMP6000 and TSMP77000
1. Integrate a photodiode, amplifier, and signal conditioning IC into a single package
2. Surface mounted in a side or top view
3. Viewing angle of ± 50°
4. Spectral sensitivity from 800 nm to 950 nm
5. Can receive carrier frequencies from 20 kHz to 60 kHz
6. TSMP77000 measures 2.3x3.0x6.8 mm and has dual lenses
7. TSMP6000 measures 4.0x5.3x7.5 mm and has a single lens.
Samples of TSMP6000 and TSMP77000 are available now. Production orders have a lead time of six to eight weeks.
