AEC-Q200 qualified, thin film resistor network introduced by Vishay in SOIC package

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc has introduced the NOMCA series of dual-in-line thin film resistor networks which are AEC-Q200 qualified. For improved ESD and moisture protection, these resistor networks are constructed with self-passivating tantalum nitride resistor film on a high-purity alumina or ceramic substrate.

These resistor networks offer 7 or 8 isolated resistors of equal value in a narrow (0.150 in) 14- or 16-pin SOIC package. They are rugged and molded in a 50 mil pitch construction.

The NOMCA resistor networks are suitable for precision voltage dividers, op amps, and battery management applications. End products will include automotive, telecommunications, industrial, process control, and medical equipment.

Technical specifications:
1. Resistance range of 1 kilo Ohms to 50 kilo Ohms for each resistor
2. Typical power rating of 100 mW
3. Absolute TCR of ± 25 ppm/°C
4. TCR tracking of 5 ppm/°C
5. Ratio tolerances to ± 0.05 %
6. Long-term ratio stability of 0.05 % after 1,000 hours at + 125 °C
7. ESD to 1 kV at < 10 kilo Ohm and 2 kV at > 10 kilo Ohm.
8. Noise of < -30 dB
9. Voltage coefficients of < 0.1 ppm/V
10. Temperature range of -55 °C to +125 °C

NOMCA resistor networks are compliant with RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU and halogen- free according to the IEC 61249-2-21 definition.

Samples of the NOMCA resistor networks are available now. Production quantities will be available in May, with lead times of 8 to 10 weeks for standard orders.
