Online design simulator from Fujitsu released for power management Ics
Fujitsu Semiconductor America (FSA) has launched a web based design simulator "Easy DesignSim," for power management ICs (PMIC). Online design simulation and design support for Fujitsu's power chips are offered by this simulator.
"Easy DesignSim can save our customers significant time and frustration in the power management design process," said Takuya Okajima, manager of application engineering at Fujitsu Semiconductor America. "This simulator allows engineers to validate and test their designs and power configurations right from the Fujitsu website. With this new tool, we offer our customers another way to speed their products to market with minimal design and test time, and with the highest quality."
"Easy DesignSim" helps the engineers to select the required PMIC and simplifies the process of designing circuit diagrams for power supplies. Input/output voltages, load currents, efficiency, and switching frequency are automatically calculated and the power supply operation is simulated online.
"Easy DesignSim" can be used to generate and export the BOM (bill of materials) from the electronics parts vendor database based on the project requirements and circuit diagram.
